anyone know what happened on the Trans Canada between Calgary and Chestermere? the eastbound side is completely blocked off by fire and police vehicles, but i couldn't see any of the carnage you would expect from an accident severe enough to shutdown a highway. ended up having to make a u-turn and take a side road home to Chestermere

What time was that at? I came through that way around 9pm and didnt see any sign of problems. Traffic was flowing through without a hitch.

They said last night on the news it was a grass fire out of control.

that makes sense, didn't see any wrecked cars and at the intersection the cops were also stopping people from turning south down the side road
