St. Johns Newfound land

Acquiring the help of Calgary Puck once again.

Im heading to Newfoundland in a couple weeks for a wedding, and just wondering if anyone is familiar with St. Johns? Im looking for some good, cheap, preferably all you can eat seafood restaurants.

Will only be in St. Johns for one night I think, so I welcome any knowledge. Thanks,

Go to Ches's Fish and Chips.

It's good (great) cheap, and the best damn fish and chips you will ever have. Also have the local drink with it, I believe Newfie's call it "pepsi"

I'll second the Chess Fish & Chips - it's been a while since I was there, but the locals all told me it was the best fish and chips around, and I thought it was pretty good.

Does anyone know if Chucky's Fish and Chips is still there? It was VERY good, but I heard a rumour from someone that it had closed down.
