Default Classic Sports Movies on TSN and SNET

Sportsnet and TSN are showing some classic sports movies this summer.
  • Tonight, Sportsnet is showing Youngblood - a classic hockey movie that I loved when I first saw it in junior high. The latest showing starts at 8:30 p.m. on Sportsnet Pacific.
  • On Tuesday night, TSN is showing Bull Durham my favorite baseball movie.
There are other movies planned too. It's better than watching post World-Cup interviews....

Just turned on the tv, which was on Sportsnet, and what do I see? Rob Lowe getting it on with some chick (topless and bare-assed) while Eloise Hawking from Lost is making him tea.

Didn't expect to see that at 8:30 on a Sunday on Rogers Sportsnet.

Oh! I guess that might be one of the reasons I liked it when I was in junior high

That was the only reason to like the movie.

I'll see your topless and bare-ass, and raise you a sword-like hockey fight. So classic.

On the subject of young blood. The house mother that gave Youngblood the ride of his life later went on to become Eloise Hawkings in Lost.

They played a heavily edited version of Kingpin last week.
