I have Trend Micro PC on my Dell laptop from when I bought it. I'd like to delete this program but when I attempt to do so it asks for a password, which I don't know. Every day at noon it starts a virus scan and I manually stop it. I use other virus software and don't want this program. How can I delete this program or at least turn it off so it doesn't start virus scans?

You will have to know which version you are using though.

You'll need to know what you're doing, but if you reformat you'll probably get rid of a lot of other stuff you don't need as well. Stupid bloatware.
