I have always loved Opera over Firefox.
Don't switch, just try it. Speed dial alone is a reason to switch IMO, but it is damn fast.

I loved Opera when I tried it. I can't live without my firefox addons and Opera was always a tiny bit unstable, so it would freeze for a bit. Maybe I should try again.
I can't remember, but can you easily import bookmarks from firefox?
edit: Ironically, firefox crashes right as I start downloading opera.
I remember there being some strange reason why you should use the international install. Can anyone refresh my memory?

I'm using firefox right now but for some reason the new version keeps crashing. It's extremely annoying and I can't use Chrome. For some reason Chrome has really odd scrolling so when I'm using my trackpad it's not smooth at all.
Will have to try opera

Getting used to the scrolling will be interesting but it's way better than chrome. Now to figure out these bookmark things I have on firefox

Speed dial rocks. I have a ton of speed dials. You can have more than the default ones by editing a file. Can't remember which one right now, but if you Google add to speed dials in Opera, you should be able to find it. I could not live without my speed dial. FF has an Add On that attempts to be like Opera's speed dial, but it is flaky at best and does not work the same. Right now I have 30 speed dials and use it every day as visual bookmarks. It's great...oh and guess what CP is my first speed dial...

It seems pretty similar to Chrome and speed difference isn't noticeable.

I like the speed dial function but is there anyway to make bookmarks right under the toolbar? It's a lot easier to use the mouse then to always type it out or open a new window then select.
Edit: Figured it out... haha
Edit x2: Maybe not. It opens up a small window. Can I somehow make this my main window?

on the left near the menu there is a tab that you can click on. it lets you go through things like downloads, bookmarks, history etc.

Yup. I figured that part out, but when I click on a bookmarked link, it opens a new frame next to the one I have open. Is there anyway to make this the main window?

Don't forget Opera also has a built-in adblocker.
Right click on page, select "Block content", select the adds you never want to see again.

Pretty sure when you install Opera, it will prompt you to import any existing bookmarks. It's quite simple.

Hmm does anyone know how to change some settings so FB chat won't be so glitchy? It keeps scrolling up and down everytime I send or receive a message which is driving me nuts.
