ALL ABOARD!
Ha Ha Ha Wipeout
The television show Wipeout has been picked up by TVTropolis and they're creating a Wipeout Canada. Applications for the show are open now.

If you're someone, like me, who has seen a few episodes and thought, those guys are idiots for not being able to do that, here's your chance.

Anyone watch the 2 hour special last night? Wipeout: Blind Date edition

Norm!
After watching last nights show, there's next to no way that I would go onto Wipeout. To me, the new "games" were just brutal, and the final whipeout zone looked next to impossible.
I loved the blind date format, especially the matching of Pete with the Amazon.

I would like to see the injury reports from that show, so many people landing face first into things ... lol
Also if you want to hear my kids laugh like crazy, turn Wipeout on.

I friggin love this show. There's not a lot on tv that will make me laugh out loud, but I was busting a gut the whole show last night.

I have always thought that anyone with a remote level of physical coordination should be able to clean up on these things.
Makes me think the selection process might be weighted towards the athletically challenged.

That chick that was doing flips off everything was hilarious, looked like a freakin' ninja turtle or something. Some of those chicks were bossy, s&m personalities or something.
Loved it when the blond skinny chick was hanging on the swaying bars and then gets sandwiched.

Do you remember the Japanese show like that where they would have the English voice overs ?
That was genius, I imagine somebody buying those old tapes for cheap and doing the voice overs and selling for a very good profit.
Japanese shows like that are gold Jerry, gold.

Wasn't it called 'MXC' and it aired on Spike? It was good, but I much prefer Wipeout for the very reason that you follow the competitors right from the beginning to the end, with a clear winner. MXC was just a bunch of edits of some giant Japanese show, and they just made it all up. It got tired after a few viewings.
Wipeout is one of the only shows on TV that consistently has me laughing out loud. Other notable shows to share this honour have been Arrested Development, and Modern Family.

MXC had hilarious commentary. I could be in the other room while just listening and would laugh my ass off.

The only way I would concider trying out is if they allowed Vic Romano or Kenny Blankenship to dub my voice
