gots me a new car!
Welp, Needed a reliable car. So I got a 09 Nissan Versa SL. Loaded with everything other than the moonroof.
Paid $13,600 out the door that's includes TT&L.
Thats about 3k under what retail should be.
Vehicle is a one owner and only has 9k on the odometer! It even has that keyless deal where I don't need a key and a CVT transmission.
Here are the photos

Yea, it was kinda a crappy situation. I asked my boss (the GM) and she explained that we did and had me talk to the owner and the owner felt really bad about it and told me that he would cover my private insurance for the next couple of months until they are open for new people.
Plus I found out yesterday that I got plenty in pell grants that I will be able to use that to pay my rent and the car payment is less than the rent on my house so I'm set.
I have done a very good job of saving money for the last year. So now I have a nice car that is basically like you said "new". I have 3k worth of equity in it hahahaha.

Well the cat was taken to a non kill shelter. I have volunteered at the shelter for a couple of hours and brought some food and kitty litter to help out.
The little guy is doing alright. They haven't put him up for adoption yet. But they think that he will be easy to adopt out.

That's cool. I call every other day to see how "Frank" is doing.
I hope he finds a good home.
