I used Braithwaite Boyle Accident Injury Law a few years back, they require no cash up front so that might help your situation... But they take a large % of your settlement and get a big solid 'meh' from me in terms of their working hard for you. I'd go with a smaller firm who may devote more effort to your claim

I work in PI in BC. There is a maximum percentage that lawyers are allowed to take on contingency (33.33% in BC). Most firms will take near the maximum.

Sorry, I got out of that a couple of years ago and never really cared for the work anyway... If nobody volunteers here, I can PM you a name or two that I refer people to, but it's not necessarily any better than you're going to do with referrals from friends or other lawyers on this board...

I wanted to bump this thread... my new wife had a slip and fall accident on our honeymoon on resort property. We just found out today she will be off work indefinitely.

So if anyone has any recommendations I would love to hear them.

I've done a bit of slip and fall and PI work, but not something I do a lot of.

PM me with some details, including where the resort was and the circumstances of the injury.

PM Vlad, I'm sure he does it. If no one else steps in I know someone off the board that does it.
