Default Happy Father's Day Calgarypuck

What are your plans?

I'm being taken to dinner at Hu Hot, my favorite.

http://www.huhot.com/

Planning a long phone conversation with my Dad. Looking forward to hearing the details about his recent trip to New Zealand. My Dad is awesome, I'm lucky.

To cap it off, I'm taking my 15 year old son to his first concert in Oklahoma City on Wednesday. I have the week off!

Me and my one year old son are taking in his first Stampeders game today. Happy Father's day all.

My Dad came to visit me this weekend at the last minute. So it's nice we get to spend Father's Day together now. We'll probably watch some US Open because that's what he'll want to do.

My wife and kids are still sleeping. I'm up early for once.

Had to get up early and check out of the hotel, and am waiting for the boy to get on the ice for a tournament semi final. Can't remember the last Father's day I woke up in my own bed, but watching my kids do what they love to do is my favorite pastime. Awesome. Happy Father's Day CP!

Reasonably busy day ahead of me. Have to finish up a couple things around my Mom's house for her (It's a pretty big house with a big yard so it's a lot of work for a widdow in her mid 60's to keep up). Than it's a two hour drive to go visit my brother who's been a father for a whopping 12 days now to see how him and his new little guy are doing. Probably watch some US Open while I'm there, than another hour and 15 to get home and have dinner with my inlaws.

We did all of our visiting yesterday - so I get to have a quiet day here at home with the kids ... did some gardening with my son and will probably watch some of the US Open as well.

Taking the family for a road trip to the Banff gondola. Usual mayhem involving loading three kids into the minivan will ensue shortly.

The kids are psyched and for me the main pleasure is hitting the open road for 1.5 hours. I love highway driving.

We're having the family over for a picnic in the backyard with my two chubby 11 month olds being the star attraction. My Dad can't make it because he's sick but I just got off the phone with him planning our upcoming hunting season, a hobby I took up just to spend more time with my Dad, brother and uncles.

it's my first father's day and I get to spend 1/2 of it at work (my revenge is that I'm not gonna work very hard). My little girl bought me a nice bottle of Scotch yesterday, with a little help from her mother, and let me sleep until 10:30 this morning. Hopefully we'll fire up the grill when I get home and have some lamb.

I got some nice art work from my 3 y/o, a cool handmade memo holder for my desk from my 9 y/o, and a really nice scrap book from my wife of me and the boys. And I get to do some hobby stuff (trains) while they are out of the house.

That is totally not what I expected your family to look like.

Did you guys know that there is a 1.6km scale miniature railroad you can ride on in Airdrie?

Well I do know! Ironhorse park, my little daughter enjoyed her train ride!

I had a great day with my son. We watched Brazil's world cup match this afternoon and then the entire family went down for a hotdog picnic at the park.

Just got back to Fort Mac after a long drive from Calgary. My parents drove in from the Okanagan and I drove down for my six year old nieces' first dance recital (they live in Calgary).

Had the side benefit of spending half of Father's Day with my dad. Been an awful long time since I've been able to do that! Was nice.
