They say learn something new everyday. Or at least you should. What did you learn today?
Me? I learned that in the United Kingdom the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I watched on TV and played with at home, were known as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles.

I learned that the running race I'm trying to register for in England in late May, the Hornsey YMCA New River Village Crouch End 10 Km in North London, is sponsoring a different charity - cancer - than I thought it was.
It made no difference to me.
I learned they had a couple of Germans in it last year but I would be the person from the farthest away . . . ever.
That was interesting and meant a little bit more for some reason. Probably purely ego.
I expect to learn one more thing later today from the person e-mailing me - whether or not its difficult to get to the start line via public transportation from central London.

Every Friday morning I mark down the total of goals I scored in my hockey game the night before. Today I totaled them up and I learned that I've got 51 goals in 24 games! Damn that feels good!
Last year I didn't count but if I had to guess, I'd say I got probably around 20 goals in 30 games, with all of them coming in the last 20 games.
Sad thing is (sad for the goalies) I'm nowhere near the lead in goals, the leader probably has doubled my total.
Edit: (We don't play much defense, in case nobody could figure that out )

I went home for lunch and my wife had all of her "mommy-group" friends over with their babies. They are all within a few weeks of my sons age (8 months). I learned to stay at work when the mommy-group is over.
Oh ya, I also learned that I have the CUTEST kid on earth! (No bias there)

I leaned that sometime you can convene a 2 hour company wide conference call, work on the visual presentation, get everyone to attend, and one complete jack@## with a bad hairpiece and no sense of humor can totally throw a wrench in the works, leading to the first every Captain Crunch celebrity reeming out in front of 62 emplyee's.
