Default Free shakes at Peter's today?

I heard a rumor they were giving out free shakes at Peter's Drive in today.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Thanks!

Ya, I thought about going.. But the thought of standing in line for an hour for a $4.50 milkshake doesn't appeal to me.

the last 10 times or so I've gone say over the last year, there hasn't been a line at all.

Think I heard it was busy until about 11 last year.

I was there around 4. I think 25-30 minutes in line?

That would explain the ridiculous amount of people I saw in line today when I went to the 711 post office.

The line is still INSANE. I went and turned right around. Hard to see from the way I came in, but it looks like the right lane of 16th Ave was lined up for 2 blocks down the road. The walk up lines were about 6-8 people wide each and all the way back to the front parking lot.

I'll gladly pay $4.50 another day. Unless you make less than $4.50/hour at work, don't bother.

How did they not run out of ice cream? How did they store it all? The poor employees must want to kill themselves by the end of this.

I went right before lunch not knowing it was free shakes. No line at all. I drove by it later at like 4 PM and there were a lot of people and cars jamming up 16th. Crazy stuff
