To be clear, I'm not an accountant. Bookkeepers generally take care of the day-to-day management of your financial records. They keep everything in an orderly fashion, thereby reducing the amount of work your accountant has to to at year end.

Accountants generally will complete your taxes, advise on financial structure and provide other financial advice and guidance. As a bookkeeper I will always defer to my clients' accountant any questions beyond my scope of expertise.

I've been working with Scase & Partners for a number of years. Have been great on everything from personal taxes to corporate tax and tax planning and re-orgs etc...I dont really know what afforadable means but I find there prices to be reasonable for the value they bring.

I highly recommend Pete Elliott. We left our first accountant for him, and it has been a breath of fresh air. Always ready to answer any questions, and both friendly and knowledgeable. Also, almost 1/3 the cost of our previous accountant.
