Watching Home Movies
So I am in a situation now where I have now sat through about four hours of myself as a baby, toddler, child, pre-teen, etc etc and have about four more to go.
My Mum's (Mum because she's old-school British!!!) birthday is coming up on the 8th of June and I had this wicked idea for a present for her and my Dad came through big time having dumped all the VHS tapes into the computer. I am sampling snippets from home movies and using the samples in a musical composition. Kinda arty I know, but its my Mum's B-day and this was the best idea I could come up with seeing as I am perpetually strapped for cash.
So the point of this thread is that has anyone else out there watched home movies in their mid 20's having not seen any of it for years and just feel so embarrassed you want to hang yourself? Or maybe moments of epic awesome that managed to get recorded?
Thoughts? For the record, I really need a beer after watching this...
