LF: Female Teammates For Floor Hockey Team
Hey so basically some friends and I are joining a Calgary Sports and Social Club floor hockey league for spring 2010, it goes from April 18 for 9 weeks (once a week). Games will be either, Thursday nights or on Sundays (depending on what works for people). We have a full team with males including a goalie, but this is a compulsory co-ed team so we need at least 3 girls.
Cost per team is $650, so depending on the amount of people, per person costs will be between $55-$73.
All that is required is a dark and light coloured t-shirt and a hockey stick with a plastic blade, one will be provided for you if you do not have one (they are not the greatest quality though) or you can purchase them for $20 at a sporting good store in the SW by Chinook Mall.
So if you or you know anyone who would be interested in joining please message ASAP, registration has to be in by April.

Anyways back on track...we'd prefer if the girls that joined the team were good and could actually play. However, as we are having mighty trouble finding girls honestly girls that are just wanting to play (who aren't very good) will suffice too.

If you can't find anyone by the deadline, let me know and I can most likely come out (as long as my husband thinks it's ok to hang out with "rabble-rousers" from CP  ) I could use an excuse to get out and do something minus the baby.
There's no need for any gear other than the stick?
