Play On! Calgary is part of a highly organized national street hockey series that is designed to appeal to current generation of Canadians and their families, and represents a national celebration of hockey in its most pure form.
The Calgary Flames and Calgary Hitmen Hockey Clubs will once again be a major part of this exciting national event with their events team being onsite for the entire weekend.
Over 2,400 participants and 17,000 spectators will take part in this years event.
The weekend will feature a minimum of four games per participant, a hockey festival atmosphere, a celebrity game, special guest appearances and fun and games for all who participate. If you are a hockey fan you have to be there!
Registrations are limited and currently being accepted for all ages (children, youth & adult), all ability levels and both genders at www.playon.ca. Organize your team and register today before it is too late!
I played in it a few years ago. My only problem was that with so many teams, it was hard to see if we made the playoffs. The team I was on did make the 'post season', but I didn't see our names. I didn't go the 2nd day. I was the goalie. My teammates weren't very happy with me.
