Default Magazines you subscribe too

Call me a little old-school, but I enjoy reading a variety of magazines.

Forbes and Alberta Venture are two I'm getting free issues from. See if they're worth subscribing too.

Time magazine is also a good one.

What do you subscribe too?

Magazines? Like, glossy pages, covers, regular mail magazines?

Why dont you just chisel your reading material into stone tablets?

Heh.

I enjoy reading articles in magazines a lot more than I do reading them online.

Even if one costs me money.

I don't subscribe to any, but I was about to subscribe to Portfolio before conde nast pulled the plug on that one. It had a good mix of serious business articles and more entertaining stuff, I can only put my head into Forbes for so long before I zone out. I like reading the New Yorker and Atlantic, but I'll just buy the occasional copy at a news stand.

Architectural Digest, and I buy several design related ones occasionally, but that's only if they're somewhat interesting.

I subsrcibed recently to GamePro. They re-launched themselves this past Jan. to gear towards actual journalism/editorial content opposed to just throwing out numbers for scores on games etc.

I'm 2 issues into my subscription and I love it. 25 bucks Canadian a year, and I love it.

Wired is a good read, it's got a nice breadth of topics.

I do a lot of work for magazines, so I'm lucky to get free subscriptions to a lot of them, but the only ones I regularly read are Wired and New York magazine.

However, I HAVE to get a Motor Trend or Car & Driver, every time I fly. I used to get Newsweek as well, but the recent redesign totally ruined the look of that magazine, so it doesn't seem quite as good anymore.

Big fan of Mcleans as well, but only get to read it whenever I'm home. Money Sense is good too.

I've subscribed to Sports Illustrated and Time in the past, but Esquire is the only magazine that I consistently find interesting enough to subscribe to now that I can read whatever I want online.

The Economist, which is a bit dry but really does tell you what the hell is going on in the world, generally about a year before anyone else, and Vanity Fair which has about the best writers in the business although I always feel like I'm reading Cosmo's brighter older sister.

Id much rather read a physical newspaper or magazine rather than reading online. I'm oldschool in that way as well.

I had a subscription to maxim for some reason but that mag is pure crap.

Current subscriptions are Scientific American and GQ. Like them both.

Anyone have any free subscriptions?

Sometimes those are kicking around on the net.. I always give them a look.

I don't subscribe to any but I have been buying Mens Health lately and I might consider buying a years subscription on that.
