Exclamation Tiger Woods about to miss the cut

He's having a back nine that looks like a hacker's score card - three bogies and four doubles with three to play

I hate to revel in another humans's misery, but I cannot say I am unhappy about his result.

This comes as the Enquirer (totally legitimate news source) has indicated he has had 121 affairs.

It still bothers me that everyone calls this guy by his nickname.

I had to google that, I had no idea Tiger wasn't his real name.

I have no issues with it though.

Why? A lot of people get called by their nickname. I'm pretty sure Phil Mickelson's real name is Phillip.

But in all seriousness, Fuzzy Zoeller and Chi Chi Rodriguez are two such examples.

I wish I was good enough at golf, that missing the cut in a PGA tour event was considered major international sporting news.

Must be distracted by his wife filing for divorce after she found out Tiger slept with his neighbors daughter.

I'm pretty sure Tiger legally changed his name to 'Tiger'?

Tiger just withdrew from the Players, citing neck issues, possibly a "bulging disc".

My first inclination is that he's lying.

He just doesn't seem like the lying type to me.

Probably smart to withdraw rather than exacerbate an injury when he's not in contention.

I fear that he's hitting the limits of his body from all the past injuries. If it is serious, it might be best to take the rest of the year off to recover.

I don't think he's lying. If he didn't show up at all for the final round then I would think he's lying but he played 6 holes then felt something. Good idea to withdraw.

No he probably isn't lying, I just have a tough time believing anything that he says. Nature of the beast I guess.
