Default Just Cause 2

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_Cause_2
Tons of fun trailers: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/just-cause-2/11068

I can't wait for this game. The demo itself has made this a must buy for me, you basiclly have 30 minutes to cause as much chaos as possible. Just from the demo and trailers it is obvious how much better it is than the original.

The map is massive, the demo has a 35 sq mile limit (which is pretty big on its own) but the actual game is 400 sq miles. Everything from Just Cause has been improved on, especially the grapple/parachute combo. You can grapple only anything and hooking any two things together which can make for some epic kills (like hooking a soldier to a gas tank, shooting off the cap and watching them fly away.)

This is definetly not mean't to be a serious game, it's all about the freedom to do what ever you want and all around epic gameplay. If you havn't tried it yet, download the demo.

Release date: March 23rd

Not sure how interested I am in this, but anything that's certified 3D-Vision ready gets props in my books.

I played the demo and it felt like a Xbox 1/PS2 game. I thought it'd be interesting but glad I played the demo first. It is like Far Cry 2 for me. I was super hyped for that game, then I played it and it looked pretty but was a terrible game.

Good to know because I too was really looking forward to Farcry 2 and then once I realized how bad the enemy AI was it became unplayable to me, I'd blow up a patrol station, drive on, come back after my mission was done and the enemies had respawned as if nothing ever happened. And the missions were too bland and basic.

The first DLC:

Watch until the end. The air propulsion gun looks epic!

I bought this off steam a while ago, haven't really had the available time to sink into it...hoping to get to it pretty quick here. Of what i've played, it's just pure ridiculous fun.

The first DLC is on the PSN now, $1.99 for the rocket-chute, the jet and the multi-lock rocket launcher. The Ice Breaker truck is free.

Haha that looks awesome. I enjoyed the demo, I think I might pick this up finally. I'm having a lot of fun with Saints Row right now though.

Not that it matters you console folk, but this game really needs a powerful rig to turn on the eye candy. My 9800 GTX+ (actually, GTX Black, which runs at higher speeds than the GTX+) needed everything turned to min to get ~40 FPS on the benchmark. Glad I didn't buy it, but still might if it's on sale.

I'm about 70% of the way through it and it's ridiculously fun. I spend hours just messing around instead of doing missions. ie. seeing if one plane can take off with another one strapped to it. Highly recommend it.

I've been enjoying this game so far. Wasn't good to pick it up as I wasn't too high on the demo, but I picked it up at Wal-Mart for $40, too good of a deal to pass up.

It's a ton of fun, great to dick around in the massive world. Story is pretty weak so far, and the main character is one of the worst I've ever seen, but the game play makes up for it.
