Round 2: #3 Atlanta Thrashers vs #4 Ottawa Senators

Round 2 of the playoffs will feature #3 Atlanta vs #4 Ottawa.

The key for us is to get to MA Fleury. We got to Lundqvist in the first series and need to have similar results to beat a good Ottawa team. Fleury was fantastic in the regular season and we expect him to be good in round 2. On top of that we need to limit the big guns of Eric Staal, Alexei Kovalev, Nick Backstrom, Vincent Lecavalier and Jordan Staal on Ottawa. Datsyuk, Hossa, Sturm, McDonald, Smyth, and Guerin will have to match these guys. Our top line outperformed Philly in round 1 and that got us to round 2.

Looking forward to game #1 against a solid Ottawa team.

This is going to be a really good matchup. Both teams are playing really well and their goalies are playing solid as well. My prediction is the Thrashers though, that 1st line is playing great hockey....either way I can see this thing going 6 or 7 games.

Should be a great matchup... Staal has continued his strong play.. Kovalev has stepped up even more this playoffs... Vinnie has been solid but can still take another step and Backstrom has really stepped up his game.

Thrashers will be tough though.. they have a great team with some great players.

Fleury could be the difference here.. Well rested and ready to go.
