Beat me too it. Saw them come all the way down Centre. Is that the typical way to escort someone from the airport (I'm guessing that's where they came from). Why not Deerfoot?

Just a guess, but probably because Deerfoot from the Airport is ugly as sin and doesn't make for the best first impression of Calgary.

Centre street is much better?

At least the view on Westbound Memorial from Deerfoot into downtown is pretty impressive.

Chinatown north Crescent Heights is awesome.

Dim sum, bbq pork, chinese bakery. With the exception of the dodgy liquor store near Safeway and the over abundance of tire shops, its a great place to live.

-1 to no easy Wendys, Pizza Hut, Pizza 73 access. +1 to Taco Bell access -1 for the crappy service at that franchise location.
