Rare Earth Magnets (Where to get?)
I'm looking for those small, circular rare earth (neodymium) magnets. Does anyone know where I could pick those up in Calgary?
Thanks

With recent global warming, you might be forced to live with medium/medium-well Earth magnets - if that's ok with you

Yeah, I second the Lee Valley recommendation. It's a bit cheaper ordering from somewhere online, but if you need them now, that's probably the best place to go.

Since you found them now, just remember, you can swallow one, but don't swallow two of them (causes big issues)!!! Just saying

What you mean is, don't swallow one, then half an hour swallow another

Magnet Therapy
I put them on my ears. It's supposed to have healing powers.
Seriously, I do.

^^ I have a few magnets that I have taken from old hard drives- they are super strong. I will often place one in my knee brace when I have trouble sleeping due to my joints bugging me. Works every time.

Has it ever been shown that magnets do anything at all with regards to health?

Lots of people swear it works, so at least the placebo effect of them does.

I typically put them on my ears. According to Chinese medicine, depending upon which part of the ear you stimulate, you can affect most parts of the body.
Anyway, it feels relaxing, so it can't be all bad.
