Jeep TJ Owners? HELP!?

Hey everyone,

so i am looking at picking up a jeep and getting rid of my suv to free up some debt during my final year of University. The jeep i am looking at right now is a 2002 Jeep TJ, black, standard, 4 cyl...with 175K on it...for 6900 OBO

the problem obviously lies int he kms...has anyone owned a jeep? i see lots on autotrader and kijiji for approx 5g's with over 200k on them...this should only last a year and a bit until i graduate and can get a job full time (hopefully haha) and can afford something else...

has anyone had experience with jeeps? good, bad, servicable, cheap to fix, aweful to fix? i need help! i need advice!

and remember this is to get me free of debt for a bit, and keep me afloat, not to up my posh celebrity status....

I have a ZJ with the 4.0L and they are ridiculously easy to work on and the engines are very reliable. I have about 216000 kms on it and it's had minor work done to it.

It's a jeep so it will probably leak something. If you have it inspected, have them check the exhaust manifold because they crack and leak. They may have fixed it by 2002 though. There is a local jeep only scrap yard in town as well if you are handy.

Crap. Just noticed you said 4 cyl. Sorry, I have only had the 4l and 3.7l.
