Default Numb3rs

Looks like the show is done.

I don't think they had enough interesting math episodes to last more than a few seasons (those were my favorite) but I found they did a really good job continuing the theme of the show and keeping it interesting and on topic, just not as "mathy".

I for one really enjoyed it. Was a bit cheesy at times, but fun to always watch if I was bored or had nothing to do. On a dull weekend it aired on Fridays so by Saturday / Sunday if I had nothing to do I'd watch it.

Feeling pretty sad it's over. With BSG and Num3ers now done there's nothing to do if I'm bored on a weekend. Used to love eating breakfast Saturday mornings then watching BSG and drinking coffee.

When Don started dating that fugly ADA the show was doomed to failure.

It has been funny how they have been making fun of themselves the last few episodes.

1. I liked the blond ADA near the beginning the best. She was HOT!! I think the fugly ADA you don't like is the same character, but different actress.

2. Making fun of themselves?

Too bad, I really liked the show. Cheesy at times, but the acting was typically solid and the brother dynamic was really good.

The reason why they might be ending it is because it costs too much to make. 7.5 million a show. That was the reason why the Unit got cancelled last year.

So instead we get more crap like survivor etc for 1 millionish a show.

Really ? WOW, that sucks. I hate reality (or pretend reality) TV. I wonder if that's a large reason it does so well, the cost isn't high as most of the characters/people are working for free.

Yah like they are having different characters make the ever so insightful yet bs analogy when Charlie is trying to explain why his theory of Linear Quantum Mathmatics will help solve the shop lifting crime by plotting a sub linear graph overlayed with statistics of whatever.

And having the FBI agents finish charlies sentences because they have heard the same bs for 3 years

Dont get me wrong, I love the show.

Well, the current list of shows I'm now down to if this goes off the air is

Law and Order, L & O Special Victims Unit, The Mentalist, The Good Wife, Two and a Half Men, and NCIS.

The last two shows are probably ending soon as well. There's not a lot left out there anymore.....

Colby was hilarious, going to miss this show.
Wish they showed more of Larry as well, should have grown him more as a character.

Agree with everyone. Colby was hilarious, didn't like the new girl this season, the one who was on Shark.

Also liked Larry, although he got a bit religious like, I preferred him before the monastery.

Krumholtz (Charlie) and Morrow (Don) have other gigs lined up. Considering the declining ratings of everything on broadcast TV, 6 seasons is a pretty good run for a show as unique as this airing on Friday. From CBS next year, get ready for a spin-off of Criminal Minds, and a remake of Hawaii Five-O.

I'm still back on the early seasons (I only watch TV shows on DVD).... it passes the time, but not much else.

Sabrina Lloyd (lower right corner) has always been a crush of mine.... probably the only reason I watched Sliders.

That sucks for the wife. Her favourite show. She's not going to be happy when I tell her about this because I don't think she's aware it's done. Maybe I'll just not tell her.

Meh, TV has been on the decline ever since they quit making Mork and Mindy, with only very rare brief checks in the slide into the abyss by shows like Briscoe County Jr. and Deadwood.

Numb3rs was more entertaining than most of the rot though, so a shame to see it go.
