Thank god one was caught.

I sure hope, if it exists, Satan has a special spot in hell for them.

Dammit, you stole my joke!

In all seriousness though, that's pretty friggin' disgusting. I hope to hell they catch the other guy.

Stealing from anyone is disgusting.

Is it less disgusting if the victims have a sporting chance?

Sorry. Today is my Cynical Day.

Why did she have $7000 worth of jewellery with her at the hospital?

And how do those thieves know who to target? I'm thinking it's someone the dying woman or her family knows.

Last time she was in the hospital someone broke into her house and robbed her.

From the sounds of it, this jewlery was really important to her and she was worried about leaving it at the house.

Its irrelevant, it doesn't excuse these two ghouls.

I didn't say it excused them... I just thought it was weird that she would lug a schwack of jewellery to her death bed.

So they'll probably get three months of house arrest then.

Equally pathetic is how people value a bunch of useless metal when they are gonna die anyway.

Possessions really don't matter worth sh*t in the grand scheme of things and human beings still haven't figured that out.

You don't know that, maybe she didn't value them money wise but as sentimental value.

Maybe she wanted to make sure her kids had something to remember her by.

I got a ring and a old chain watch from my grandma and grandpa when they died and I don't look at them as a monitary item.

I suppose I see your point but at some point you've got to eventually let those things go.
