After hearing that others enjoyed this movie, I rented it last night and while I was expecting a corny romantic movie, I was taken aback as to how good it was.
Yes, while it is a lighthearted, whimsical look at romance in parts (which is fun if done correctly- I think it was.), it also has a plotline which diverts from the conventions you are used to seeing in movies. Refreshing!
The movie is really well edited, and the acting is usually superb. Case in point: If you think watching a guy pack a suitcase for a business trip can't be cool, they pulled that off, believe it or not. The dialogue also is really well done- it just flows.
I found the movie lingered with me after I was done watching it. It's not some profound cinematic masterpiece, but it still makes me reflect on love and life in general.
In short, if you have not seen this movie, you may well enjoy it. I thought it was really well done. What do you other CPers think of the movie?

I enjoyed the movie, but I wouldn't put it in my top movies. Maybe a 7/10. Felt like it never really took off, but that's just me.
Sorry had to point out this sounded like pun...I really didn't give it a second thought in the theater when I saw the preview. But I'm gonna give this one a shot tonight.
i watched it and i lol'd at how efficient he was at packing and at going through security. that is exactly how i try to do it too. one thing that he didn't do though that i always do is that i refuse to go through until my laptop and suit/jacket go through.
it was okay for me. i didn't think it should win any awards or anything...but it was a decent show for me.

I didn't find it depressing either. He almost lost what he only wanted. Then when he found change, it didn't pan out and went back to what he only knew. It can be depressing if you see that he's stuck doing the same thing... but I kind of saw it differently.
Saw it, thought it was... decent. Definitely falls under decent. Nothing great, but I didn't leave the couch to surf CP and leave my girl to yell at me, so it was decent.
I saw it in theatres, and remember being disappointed I spent 25 bucks for two tix to see it...
It was good but boring IMO. I also felt like it never took off, pun not intended. Nothing really happened and no lesson was learnt. I understand that's the point, but that's so lame.
