Used car service records?

I purchased a used 2004 Toyota Matrix and would like to try and find any service records for it.

If it was previously serviced at a Toyota dealer would I be able to go into any Toyota dealer and get their records?

What about CarProof? Do they give any service records?

Any Toyota dealer should be able to pull up service record from their database. Canada wide I would guess.

Some will some won't.

I did it over the phone with one a few years back when I was looking at an older toyota p/u.

Found out the recall work had been done on it and that the odo had been rolled back about 85K.

i am pretty sure legally they can't give you the info anymore due to privacy laws. I would suspect they could tell you what has been done but i don't think they will give you hard copies etc.
