Here is who we're trying to move down the stretch run.
Joe Corvo (D), 68 OV, 74 DF, 72 SC
A good offensive defensemen who is still good defensively. Has 10 goals in 18 games in Dallas, 20 goals overall. Signed for next season at 5 million.
Jerred Smithson (F), 62 OV, 76 DF, 81 FO
All around defensive forward who can play any position.
Antti Miettinen (RW), 75 OV, 76 DF
Testing the waters with him. He's a very good defensive forward, but isn't a top 6 forward this year. Will be next year. I can easily resign him, so don't offer me only draft picks.
Jay Mckee (D) 61 OV, 76 DF
Need a defensive defenseman on 3rd pair? Mckee's your man, also signed for next year.
Chris Chelios (D) 59 OV, 71 DF, 99 LD
Obviously a rental for the stretch run. Draft pick or prospect in return.
The biggest team need is a top 6 forward for 10-11 who will score goals. That's what I'm looking for in a Corvo deal. Just has to be a guy who will have at least a 70 SC. Other than that I'm interested in acquiring a 3rd pair offensive defenseman for next season, similar to the way Yandle was rated this season. Also interested in picks in the first 2 rounds of the 2010 draft.
