I have never watched a Blades game and know little to nothing about the kid besides some stats.

What's the deal? The kid seems to be have a quietly fantastic season with the Blades.

Anyone have any info?

He impressed me quite a bit at the prospects camp earlier this summer; I was sure surprised to see how late he was taken based on his performance.

His stats also look better than they are because he is a year older than the rest of his draft class.

That said, birth year has a lot to do with player development and it is not like he had a bad year last year either when he was half a year younger instead of older. He was simply a slim margin behind others in his birth year.

He has an August birthday, so he may still be on track for a pro career. One never knows...

I was just wondering what kind of situations the kid plays in, what he excels at, is he physical? Is he good at faceoffs? PP time or PK time?
