Well roots is no longer the offical oufitter of the Canadian Olympic Team, not that The Bay outbid them. I am sad to see Roots go as I really liked thier designs. Hopefully Bay doesn't incorporate the 'Bay Blanket' and comes up with something really nice.
Roots will still outfit other countries like the US, Britain and Australia.
First it's CBC. Now it's Roots. (As you might be able to see, I'm not a big fan of change).
Loved the Roots designs. I shop at Roots probably every two years: for Oly merchandise.
Ugh, to incorporate the "Bay Blanket" would be horrible! Though I'm envisioning a really tacky design in my mind right now. I'M sure it'll be better than what I'm picturing. I hope.

Oh, you can bet the Bay Blanket will be there, and I'm not 100% sure how I feel about that. It could be kinda cool if they go with a really old school (like turn of the century) look, but if they just make a bunch of stripped crap it might not be so cool. Winter games, I'll probably like it, summer games, not so much.
