Default Any way to get a U.S. address?

I need a U.S. address for a contest I want to enter but I live in Canada. Is there some way I can get a legit U.S. address just for the purpose of this contest? I also thought there might be someone here who lives in the States who would lend me their address for this. If I win, the item would be shipped there and I'd then have it shipped to me. Or, maybe there is some way I can get an address by other means for this. I doubt a post office box would work.

I heard that if you own property in the US, no matter where you live, you must now file taxes with the IRS and report your for foreign income as if it were earned in the US. Something about a change Obama implemented. I sincerely hope that's not true ...

Essentially, dual-taxation sucks (I've been there), but there are ways to avoid some of the burden, but far more ways to get screwed and have to pay both Revenue Canada and the IRS.

Tell me more about this contest and I might be willing to help. If the prize is really something special...I might keep it though, fair warning.

Canada and US have a tax treaty. There are very few circumstances where you'd be double taxed. You essentially pay the higher of the two.
