What kind of camera did you use?

I have no knowledge when it comes to cameras, and I want to make sure I get a good one for when I go to London in 2012, and Sochi in 2014.

I just took my Panasonic Lumix FZ28. It's one of the "ultrazoom" cameras so you can get pretty close images without a huge lose of image quality from an SLR. The beauty of it is it's small and light and will shoot video too...which I've also been posting up to youtube...
