I know there is another thread on this months ago, but I can't seem to locate it, but here it goes.
Last week I drained and cleaned my hot tub. Water was sparkling clear, everyone is happy. I go out today, and the GD water is cloudy again even though no one has been it. I think, maybe it's the PH or Bromine levels. I test my water, and i'm spot on.
So can anyone provide me with some guidance because this cloudy water is really pissing me off. Any suggestions as to what is causing it, and how I can remedy it would be greatly appreciated.
it's sad that I know what that video is without even clicking on it, even though with Flashblock it only shows a white box with the flash symbol
As far as the OP goes, I built hot tubs for a year or so, so thought maybe I could help if it was a plumbing/electrical/construction issue, but water probs are beyond what I know about them.

Did you clean out the filter really well before filling it back up? There also could have been sediments in the piping system that didn't get removed. These would have just been blown back into the clean water when you turned it on.
I have also found that you really have to keep the chemistry - especially the chlorine - at optimum levels to prevent cloudiness of the water.
There's also a chemical you can get at pool supply stores or home improvement stores that clears the water by coagulating waterborne deposits together, so that they are better trapped by the filter.
I had the same problem with mine, so I switched from bromine to chlorine. The smell is a lot stronger, but the water is always clear and it's really low maintenance.
You can get a chemical called spa clear at hot tub stores to try, but it didn't work very well for me.

On my tub I found that if I turn off the "air" when I am not in the tub the water stays clear. From my reading I found that if you just allow the hot tub to move the water around without adding any air it does not disturb the solids in the water as much.
I also use a water clarifier that others have mentioned in this thread.
