Cheer for the name on the front, not the back.
Team game.

So far, so good. Two big wins and virtually no accolades for Luigi. I'm cheering for Canada. Cause if we win gold, it won't be because of Booby Lou. He'll be known for going along with the ride. Like Osgood and all his Cup rings.

Perhaps but then people can no longer say he can't win the big game if that were to happen. Winning Olympic Gold would eliminate that argument.

I don't think that Kipper would be thinking about Calgary in the least if he were playing for Finland against Canada
Pretty sure he would be wanting to win 100% for Finland
so ya cheer for Canada, as someone else said. The front of the shirt not the back

It doesn't matter. We're going for silver to maintain our highest placement average.

I'd actually feel fine with either result because Canada winning would be sweet and IMHO Kiprusoff deserves every drop of gold in that medal. Of course I will be cheering for Canada (not the blob in the net) but I wouldn't be upset if Kipruland won the tourney.

I just hope Iggy doesn't tell everyone how to score on Kipper before the game starts. Gold is great and all that, but there's a certain piece of silver out there that is far more valuable.

I was thinking about the same thing for Friday. I don't know what I'd do if Kesler were to score the game winning goal against Kipper. If Finland were to win though, I would go for them to win it all since I'm not Canadian.
2 Flames > 1 Flame... sorry Iggy

So much easier cheering against Finland with Jarko Ruutu on their team too.

I don't look at it as cheering for Luongo over Kipper at all. It's cheering for Canada over Finland.

Especially since most of the team plays in the Western Conference and goes back to their day jobs next week.
