I dunno, I fail to see how this is a story. Clearly it's some kid playing a prank. Do we really need to get into a huff about every little comment now? Can't wait till Al holds a press conference to announce the end of humanity.

It's suprisingly easy to gain access to PA systems in many large stores.
Tom Green had a bunch of bits where he did exactly that.
A bad joke by some idiot kid. Not really sure why this is "unbelievable". It's not all that unbelievable that there are idiots out there with really bad senses of humour.

Having worked at a Walmart, literally, all you have to do is hit the "page" button on any phone in the store and you have access to the PA system. You can't monitor all the idiots who come into your store 24/7, especially when it's a store as big as a Walmart.

One time at at sears, one of my buddies was in the hardware section and another buddy got on the intercom and said "attention shoppers, there is a gay man looking over the wrenches", it was pretty funny...but very hurtful, and sears should have to pay for it...

I don't know if I should feel bad, but I couldn't help but think it was a little funny. Obviously it was some ###### playing joke... would any customer actually believe it was a new Wal-Mart policy or something.
Also, would it make any difference if the person pulling the prank was actually black? I only have one black friend, and I could totally see him doing something like that just when we were younger.

I think you people are looking at this all wrong.
The way I see it, it was probably a black employee being racist towards white customers.
There was probably a bomb threat or something, so the black employee told all the black customers to get out so it would only be the white folks who got killed in the immintent attack.
I'm totally offended that someone would go out of their way to avoid protecting white customers.
