Default Giants AT&T Stadium, Sun Seats Plus Bar question now!

Prob answered in other threads but:

Going to the 1pm game on Saturday, any tips on which sides of the stadium/sections would be sunny?

Feel bad about asking when people have real problems on their hands...

Thank you!

I'd suggest sitting behind left field, reasonable prices and it's a great view. You'll have sun there at 1 pm. Have fun! Love that ball park.

I went to a day game there last month, sat on the 3rd base side and got sun most of the game. Do have a look at how far you are back though. Last ten rows or so in the lower deck gets shade.

Also, dumb question.

We saw a seahawks game in seattle, and went to a bar before around 10am, drank and enjoyed the atmosphere prior to the game.

I get that MLB isn't NFL, but as this is a 1m game, any bar reccomendations to get into the Giants baseball fever prior to the game, or is drinking before kind of tough?

When should we get there?

I've got the Giants/Marlins game on now. Kavy you're watching a great game. Nothing like extra innings in a beautiful ballpark.

You lucked out with the game you're seeing. With a runner on 2nd, Posey at the plate (who they're pitching to) and one out, you might see a walk-off in extras.

Ha, it was a very exciting ending, and an amazing ball park. Also, a hot day. They usher was laughing with me, because the seats in the sun I worked hard to secure were almost to hot, he said almost any other day people kill for those seats but yesterday was unique. We had lots of sunscreen and beer though.

Sort of reminded me of the Seattle Seahawks Fans, very passionate, but very kind. Not quite as loud though.

I was a little disappointed that the crowd didn't stay standing throughout the entire length of the extra innings (not even my team and I was excited enough to stand up), however, it was still a pretty darn good atmosphere.
