Just heard about it on CTV. Crazy how the cross country skier was able to compete and win a bronze with 4 broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

Majdic was injured during a warm-up when she hit an icy patch on the course and fell into a gully. After the race, Majdic was taken to hospital and diagnosed with four broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Despite the injuries, Majdic, who was a gold medal contender, won the bronze medal.

Damn, that is one tough chic...
