Jose Canseco is losing (has lost?) his mind
This guy is just a buffoon.

Quote:
Jose Canseco, the baseball star largely responsible for exposing the steroids scandal, took to Twitter on Sunday night to address controversy regarding his attempt to join the mixed martial arts organization known as Strikeforce.
"The world is filled with jealous, envious, hypocrites and haters. Being quiet and nice has gotten me nowhere," Canseco said in one tweet Sunday. Earlier, he said "F--- all the haters and jealous pricks. Just know I am angry and fed up. Focused and determined to right my ship."
|
Quotes from his twitter account:
Quote:
I am a 45 yr old man trying to do what you haters dont have the balls 2 do. The media has done nothing but lie about me & made me a monster.
F all the haters & jealous pricks. Just know I am angry and fed up. Focused and determined to right my ship.
And when I win, maybe then, people will shut the up. I think in today's society fear is respect, as much as perception is reality.
To all the talking s who have something bad to say, all you tough typing sons of bitches do something to me or shut the up.
I have never disrespected anyone. I have always been courteous and humble, and i get on in return. I am finished with that .

He's still the only one who told the truth, so lets just let the guy get beat up and have a laugh.

This is my favorite part. The "media" didn't sign you up for twitter and make you post some crazy rant.
If I've learned one thing from the internet, it is that getting your back up against the wall and spouting off about secret agendas and liars gets you nowhere. People just see the crazy.

I feel bad for Jose Canseco. How many people has he been right about with his steroid allegations? The media jumped ALL OVER him and then when these guys get exposed no one takes back the crap they dumped on him.

You're right, he's been the most honest and important person in the whole scandel.
He was the one that brought it all up and brought up the big names. He's been right all along!
He may be an idiot but his record on this issue is so good. I actually think he'd make a good cage fighter as well.

$%^# Canseco. He's as dirty or more dirty than the rest. That's the only reason he gets all the scoops. Big Pharm got him his home run power. And his suppliers supplied the rest of them. This makes him a great person? He's as bad as tabloid media.

Did I say he was a great person? Of course he cheated, he admitted it. That doesn't change the fact that the media demonized him for coming out about this and now that these people are getting busted, it's all "he came forward and was honest" ... yeah, they're honest when they don't have a choice BUT to be honest.
He was right.
It's BS.

Buddy sold everyone else out to increase his name and sell books. He's a scumbag as far as I'm concerned. Thinks he's holier than thou.

You know, it was quite obvious at the time of these mammoth home run races, with statistics so far beyond the historic norm, that the key participants were juiced . . . . . . so I really don't think he should get any credit for 'exposing" something that was right in front of everyone's face screaming for attention.
Everyone, owners, management, union leaders, fans, media and participants themselves were aiding and abetting at the time by tacitly ignoring the obvious.
He does deserve credit for being basically the first to step outside of the comfort zone and essentially force the issue into discussion (the discussion being whether or not it is wrong to be juiced) . . . . . even if it should have been there from day one. That's when a topic most were comfortable with, now recognized as being among the darkest moments in baseball history but advertised as among the brightest at the time, started to get uncomfortable.
Even then it just looked like a cry for attention from a bit of a overgrown baby.
Being quiet and nice has gotten me nowhere,"
And where are you trying to go Jose?

So you would all rather not know that Mcguire, A-Rod and many more cheated?
Without Canseco all this might have never come out. He may have saved lives by coming out with his first book.
The guy was a cheater but he is a modern day hero. He has done more to clean up baseball and sports in general than anyone!
