What should I take to trade?
My friends and I are headed to the Olympics next week. We want to take a whole bunch of *something* to trade with foreigners for their stuff.
'88 Olympic pins is my best idea but I can't find any in bulk.
What do you guys think?

Pins of all kinds are always popular. Flames pins and Stampede pins would probably go over pretty well.

I don't know what kind of 'something' you do but pins won't cut it.

I also vote for the little maple syrup bottles. Also Canadian flag pins, stickers or whatever you can find for Canadian souvenirs <- most dollar stores have a bunch of different things.

Yeah, I've got a friend who more or less hit every single olympics in the past 12 years, I think that number is, and she just has bags and bags of pins. During the summer, she pins them all along a lanyard, and when she chats with someone, she exchanges one pin for one from their country. During winter, she pins them to her scarf and does the same. She says it's the best way to meet people and shat, she has A LOT of foreign pins.
