Default United Security System

Anyone know how to disable the United Security System?
I recently moved into a house that has it but they no longer pay for it.
However it still goes off from time to time and beeps when doors are open

The yellow 'trouble' light is always on.

Anyone know how to disable it ? Or turn it off?

Hold down the chime button for 5 seconds and that will stop the doors from beeping when you open and close them - it will at least stop your immediate concern.

Then get united to tell you how to change the code and you should just use the alarm, even though it's unmonitored. It's a good deterrant and it's free since you already have it.

Give me a pm. i should have the installers code for United. I'll tell you the process. But seriously the easiest thing to do is go unplug the transformer and then open up the box and unplug the battery.
