Default Computer room dust

Is there something I can do or buy to keep the dust down in a den/computer room?

I have a brand spankin new Dell about to arrive and I'd like to keep the amount of crap down going into it.

Does anyone use some sort of plug-in air purifier?

Chuck a humidifyer in there, that will keep the dust down. Newer cases may even have filters on the intakes. They aren't the best but they will catch some of it, clean them ever month or so. Also the obvious one, make sure your puter isn't sitting on carpet or directly on the floor, put it on a desk or at least a small stand to keep it a couple inches off the floor.

The humidifyer really does the trick though, I have TONS of electronics in one room in my basement, static electricity was my main concerns but it does keep the dust down.

Oh, and obviously stay on top of your furnace filters as well.

Oops. Fixed.
Lose the carpet.
Although loose carpet could also be a problem.
