Good news. I hope they give Calgary their own farm team and make it easier to develop talent.

I hope its better than their first attempt. It was a great try...but fell really short in my opinion. I couldn't keep playing it with all of the problems it had.

That said...I'll probably buy this one as well, since I am a sucker for hockey sim games...and I really miss my old online ehm league.

It's almost impossible to miss in the first 2 rounds of the draft in the old version.

The number one thing I hope they have is the AHL and ECHL. It would be nice to have control over your farm team. The way it is now, my players barely play any games, even though they are the better ones on the team. My goalies have only played 6 games the entire year. How can they gain experience?

I like the idea that you can tell your scouts to look out for a certain type of player. I'm tired of them recommending 30 year old players that are already making millions and signed on with another NHL team.

A story:
Last night I just won the Western Conference, and went to the SCF. Finished 6th in the season, beat Detroit in the 1st, Edmonton in the 2nd (lots of penalties ), then Minnesota for the west. Philly beat out Tampa Bay to meet me in the SCF. And Kobasew has 14 points in 18 playoff games.
And Brent Sutter is coaching. Coincidence, I think not.

Looking forward to the new one though.

I don't really want to buy because they have a liscensing deal with the NHLPA and right now I don't want the PA to get a single buck from me.

i think the first one was great, and look forward to the next.

it may have not been exactly difficult, but with all the patches, they did tweak the trading and such quite a bit. it is great fun, and i highly recommend it to anyone.

if anyone finds a local seller, please post it.
