Ginsu-chop!!
Hmmm, somehow I don't think I'd let an angry woman tie me to the bed, no matter howw good the sex is.

Kim Tran, 35, was charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence and tampering with evidence
Anyone else find that a bit funny? Tampering with evidence? I guess his ____ was the evidence...

The thought of traumatic amputation of any type is guaranteed to make me cringe but this one always disturbs me more than anything else.
As far as I'm concerned, the guy should be allowed to cut off one of her breasts with a kitchen knife and then she can have it reattached.

I don't find it funny in the slightest. If she had been successful in the flushing then he would have spent the rest of his life without a penis. She should be prosecuted on everything they can think of in this case.

I cannot fathom the motivation to do something like that.
She should rot in jail for a long long time. That's a horrible thing to do.

Yep, totally horrible.
I wonder what a Male would get prison-wise if he cut off his girlfriend's clitoris? Or breast? Probably a looooong time.

Arm I wasn't able to read the story, but what I wonder is what did the male do in this situation. I just got back from a conference regarding domestic abuse situations and what the presenter stated was that one of the signs that a man abused a woman included injury to the mans genitals.... just some food for thought.

Did he not mean that if a woman has been sexually abused by her partner then she will target his genitals in revenge?

What I was able to get out of it, if a woman is being abused, whether it be sexual or physical the woman wil target the males genitals as a way of protecting herself, mainly in order to survive. Same thing with scratches to the hands including bite marks, often times it will appear that the woman is the abuser because these marks can be seen, but in effect that isn't the truth. The bruises on a woman which come in through attempted strangulation do not appear to be great at first (a few days later however).... but the male will have bite marks on his hands.
Wife beaters also know where to hit.... there apparently were so many cases where the ass holes hit the woman behind the ear, under the hair, the breast, on the thighs, and the feet.
If anyone would like some more information as to what to look for and who to call in the situations feel free to PM me by the way.

Regardless, none of this was said in the article, and you are just speculating that it could have been the man at fault. If we take the article for what it said, it clearly has the woman as an aggressor.
I don't know why sometimes people have to have an excuse, or defend/put a possible scenario out that justifies a horrific action.
I will take the article for what it said, not speculate at what motivated the woman to do it. She should still rot in jail for a long time.

Don't you wonder how much that hurt?
Like, did it hurt more than if you had your foot chopped off?
I bet his eyes were watering.

So the woman woke up one day and said to herself, "self I think i am going to cut my husbands dong off today"
As I said the article is gone so I don't know the specifics, but that seems highly questionable to say the least.

The article didn't delve too deeply into that sort of thing, but what it basically said was that she was upset that they were breaking up, they decided to have sex again for the hell of it, the man agreed to be tied up, and she cut it off. Seems to me that a dominating man who beats his girlfriend isn't likely to consent to being tied up.

too bad the article's gone, but didn't it say she was cleaning up the blood when police arrived? That was probably also part of it.

Why do you have to speculate to the woman's defence? People do crazy things all the time. This is just an example of the changing times lately, where men do not get the benefit of the doubt.
He could have been abusive...I don't know. But from what the article says, which may or may not be true, it seems like the woman was the one who went too far. Maybe its just me, but I don't go around trying to invent reasons or excuses which makes it seem like what she did wasn't as horrible as it really is.

He was just sharing some insight based on the thing he went to. I thought it was interesting to think about, whether it has any bearing on this case or not.
