Well, this trade, if true, rivals the Gilmour trade from the Flames in terms of pure STUPIDITY.

"Chris Webber, Matt Barnes and Michael Bradley to the Sixers for Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner"

A great player, all-star who has regained his form after injuries traded for.... #####ing Corliss Williamson?????? I mean, this makes the Carter trade look like a stroke of genius - at least the Raps got a couple of draft picks out of it.

If true, I would rank this down with the Gilmour trade, if not worse... at least Risebrough took a risk that Leeman would regain his 50 goal form... WTF is CORLISS WILLIAMSON going to give Sac?

In the famous words of Comic Book Guy: "Worst Trade EVER."

Worst Trade Ever?

Sac just gets a bunch of overpaid bums. They barely save much money and lose an All Star.

Yeah. I don't get this one either. I thought the Kings would add some quality players and try to go for it. Not trade Webber. Geez. Meanwhile add Webber to a red-hot Iverson and suddenly the 6ers are looking dangerous.

great young team to. Korver, Igodula. Also the now resirected AI team player, this team is gonna be something.

Bad news for the raps.

Yeah. And a motivated Iverson that suddenly seems to "get it" is huge. I've never been a big fan of "the answer" but his attitude shift this season is impressive. Almost as impressive as his play on the court which has been nothing short of spectacular.

I don't think it is as bad as the gilmore trade.

Thomas is a good young player and will fit in nicely with the Kings team.

The Kings certainly give up a lot but from all reports it seems it was necessary because of the relationship between Webber and Peja.

Philly just keeps the trades coming. Wow, these guys are gonna be a little revamped with almost half a new team.

There was a guy on the Jim Rome show today who quoted Sacramento's record over the past couple years with and without Webber. Let's just say it was VERY far from flattering to C-Webb. The guy clearly screws up the offensive flow of that team. We all know how the big stars are in the NBA and it will only take so long, losing to Miami in the playoffs most likely, for the love-in with Webber and Iverson and the city of Philly in general, to come crashing down. Both of those guys are ball hogs and there won't be enough time in the game to get those two "their touches" let alone everyone else on the team. I wouldn't want to be the coach of that team right now.
I think you guys have to look at how amazing Sacramento's record has been without Webber since he started to incur injuries over the past couple years and take into consideration WHO won the championship last year. A team virtually full of scrapers and Kenny Thomas, Brian Skinner and Corliss Williamson are scrapers. They do the dirty work and need no glory. I'm not saying the Kings will win a championship now, but they are certainly no worse off without Webber. He never made a series-winning shot in his life. He never will.

Dear I H8 Crawford,

That was a lousy trade.
