Yes you can. All donations should be claimed by one person to max the credit. The same for medical expenses.

The higher income spouse should claim ALL the charity donations. The first $200 gets a lower % back, so if you both claim an amount then you are letting the government keep more money. Also Quick tax should point this out for you when you get it to review your taxes...
