I was driving to work this morning and I heard the add on the FAN960.

If the sexes were reversed this would not have made it on the air.

Disgusting!


during the commercial you hear muffled noises in the background – as she has tied & gagged “the guy” who usually does the commercials. Then you hear what is inferred as beating noises and her talking to him about his usual commercial.

Meh.... its Visions. What more would you expect from the scummiest of scummy electronics dealers. One of the better kept secrets as far as Electronics dealers goes is London Drugs. I buy everything there now. They are small enough that you get good one on one service, yet they are big enough they are extremely competitive on price. I have never had an issue with them, yet every single time I have ever dealt with Visions, it has been a sub-par / negative experience.

That line of commercials has never been good. Just another step downward in a horrible ad campaign.

@Pylon = + 1 on London Drugs. The downtown location used to be incredible for some suprisingly high-end gear. I've had good luck with Soundsaround and Crutchfield as well.

And I've had luck with Visions but HATED Soundsarround.

A huge amount depends upon who you end up speaking with.

And London Drugs is fine if they have what you are looking for.

Simply - it is reversed and it's comedy. This age of "social correctness" is seriously getting out of hand.

Visions imo still sell the best and the lowest. This is a place you can actually barder with and I have bought many an item there, well below cost. All they really care about is the warranty - which, if you don't use it, you get back after it expires.

Yeah, I heard that radio ad and thought it was kind of bad. But I didn't get too upset about it.
