Default Great Canmore Restaurants?

I've stopped in once or twice for a bite to eat, but am looking for a great place for some food on Saturday. Nice and classy. Good menu. Good wine selection, that sort of thing.

Murrietta's is fantastic- great Rocky Mountain fare, and fantastic views of Canmore's Main Street and the mountains beyond.

The Trough is one I've heard great things about, but have never tried.

Crazyweed is also supposed to be good, but I would think it may be a bit more casual than what you're looking for.

Being a tourist town, Canmore has many great restaurants for a small town:

Chez Francois

Sage Bistro

Murrietta's - meh - it's basically like Earls

+1 for Crazy Weed. It was rated top 3 restaurants in Alberta in a brochure I saw, so gf and I drove out there to try it out, and I must say it did not disappoint. The only bad thing is they're slow at bringing out the food. But if you don't mind the wait, then I definitely recommend it.

I haven't lived out west in a few years but we would always go to The Quarry in Canmore. Their homemade mac-n-cheese was delish!

Crazy weed is the best restaurant in the Valley.

The Trough has the best ambience and pretty good food as well.

Another good place in Canmore is Tapas. I really good place to go with friends and their sangria is REALLY good and tends to go down way too easy.
