Default Question for Shaw or telecomunications employees

Anyone work for Shaw or another telecommunications type company knows what the 'order fulfillment' department does?

My guess would be processing bills orders? Somewhere between sales, provisioning and billing? Is it labour intensive or data intensive?

From what you were able to give @ the wowjobs site, I'd suggest it is a warehouse supervisor job.

When I worked at Bell the "Order Fulfillment" department were the ones who shipped product from the warehouse, raced palette jacks around the floor, and smoked weed on Friday lunch-breaks to get through the last few hours of the week.

I'm sure it's the same at Shaw, except only with only 90% of the corporate evil.

so the coordinator would suddenly be their boss and have to contribute more weed.

ya from what i saw you would be the person making sure every field tech had the DCT's, DPT's and modems they would need for the day each morning. it wouldn't be labour or data intensive, and i don't think warehouse jobs pay that well
