Default Legoland in Cali

I'm heading to Cali in April with the kids ( 1 yr old and 4 yr old) and was wondering if anyone has been to Legoland and if its worth visiting while we're down there. Obviously we're doing the Disneyland thing but I don't know if I can take 6 straight days of Mickey and co. so it would be nice to break things up.

Any feedback would be great.

We went there, we'd rather have spent another day at Disney. Kids 1 and 4 are probably going to be more interested in what Disney has to offer. 7-10 year olds might enjoy what Legoland has to offer moreso.

That's my opinion, anyway.

I would go before Disneyland if possible. We went after being at other area parks for 7 days so were just going through the motions by the time we got to Lego Land. My 6 year old after being at Disneyland found the rides there really lame but my 4 year old loved them so it was split that way. We stood in longer line ups there vs any other theme park which didn't make sense other than they seemed under staffed and not as organized. With the ages of your kids it might be worth checking out but I would try to go there first and work your way back to the "main events"...If your kids get the Lego magazine they often have 2 for 1 coupons in there or you can search the web and likely get some.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It sounds like it might not be worth it. I guess the price will be the a deciding factor as we are already purchasing the disney hopper passes.

I was just at Disney land and lego land this past december, I found these places to be quite the opposite of what your saying. The rides at disneyland were a bit more intense and geared towards older type kids (mostly), where as at legoland there were only 2 rides in the whole park my 4 year old son couldnt go on.

I dunno, it really depends on the kid. We went there in November this year and my daughter (5yrs old) went on almost every ride in the entire park except for space mountain and that one we just never got around to. She loved them all. My son (1.5yrs old) went on a ton of rides too. They're pretty tame for the most part. A really good idea is to pick up the guide for the park for like $20 at chapters. It will save you a hell of a lot of frustration and is a pretty easy read.

We did SeaWorld as well and it was really cool, but the consensus was that another two days in disney would have been better.
