WTH: Computer Tutor
Wanted to Hire: Computer Tutor
For a 65 year old grandmother. She is very, very computer illiterate. I am prepared to hire a computer tutor for her so she can learn the basics:
email
basic word usages
internet
skype (VERY, VERY MUCH LATER ON)
In the past the problem has been well intentioned people have helped but have shown her way too much stuff and got her lost. Further, each person F__s with the computer settings, changing what the previous person has done. Then one of the original people comes back, can't figure out what the others have done, and it's all F_ed right up.
She did not buy a Mac even though I know they do this sort of tutilage. The library offers courses, but they are full until Feb.
Can someone refer me to an agency or a class or whatever? I want them to train her on her machine but have a plan as far as curriculum goes so it isn't willy nilly.
