Default Anyone remember EHM?

EHM (Eastside Hockey Manager) I remember it being pretty big a few years ago but really just died out. It was quite a bit of fun to be apart of those leagues. Unfortunately I never learned how to be a commish and run the leagues. Anyone know how and interested in getting some CP members to start a league up?

I still play it all the time, though I play the old (free) version. I bought the 'new' one about 2-3 years ago, wasn't impressed with the interface.

The old version with updated rosters is the only way to go. Check out FHockey's website for more info on that one and updated rosters.

I used to run a EHM league. It's quite fun. I'd be interested in doing another one.

I recently played the game again. It is one of those things where I get hooked on the game and spend countless hours playing it, then I get bored and come back to the game in a few months and spend countless hours playing it again. Its a never ending cycle. I never used the game for a fantasy league, I just like to take control of a team and try to build teams in different manners. I too prefer the free version. I tried out a demo of the newer versions but I wasn't a fan of the interface. The free version is too easy to exploit to make things too easy on you... but sometimes that can be fun too.

I've been playing the most recent version for two or three years. Started a fantasy draft and picked Ovechkin who has now retired and I'm playing with all computer created players. I love the game I wish they would make another one. The football ones have become very good.

I too would be interested in a league.

I wish they would put the energy into EHM that they've put into the football management sims. There's an obvious reason why they don't, but the results would be awesome.

Yeah I had EHM 2005 and 2007, I quite liked 07, interface was more appealing but to each their own. Since my computer died though, I've bought a new one and forgot my license code to transfer. So I haven't been playing sadly.

How does the league work? I know it's early in planning but I've been in one so what are the basics? Thanks.

Yeah I understand the reason too unfortunately. For anyone who hasn't seen, look up FM 2009, they actually have 3d graphics among other upgrades.

You are given control of a team in every regard, basically, you're the GM and coach.
